• Yes, we were fortunate to have gotten some rain but no flooding! We are on a bluff so we don’t worry about flooding, but people in the Dallas area got flooding where there is usually none. Hope all is well with you. Have a good weekend.

    • His chance of winning is a long shot in this Red state. I hardly recognize Texas these days & I am embarrassed and appalled at some laws. We are sadly divided. Thanks for stopping by to cheer me on.

I usually try to stay out of politics with my blog but could not resist this one. We should be able to disagree civilly.

    • Thank you, Virginia! He has really been traveling around the state and will be coming to Corpus Christi soon for a town hall meeting and then a private fundraiser.

I try to keep up with some of the politics in Canada. Take care, my friend!

    • It was Bill’s idea. Since we are right by a park we get some people, some with dogs, taking a shortcut to the park through our yard. And a lot of kids! So we thought it would be safer inside. Sorry about your No turnpikes sign! Keep fighting! Hope all is well with you and yours. All ok here. Got some rain without flooding. Take care!

    • I respect your opinion, John, and wish more people would be that civil. I don’t agree with him on everything, but Abbot is too far to the right for my comfort on most things. And I have agreed with him and give him credit for some actions. Abbot’s TV ads have not been attack ads but they are well done and classy. I dislike it when politics get ugly and vicious on social media.

Beto’s winning would certainly be an upset. Thanks for stopping by!
