Celebrating the autumnal equinox 2013

On this autumnal equinox the temperature was 73 degrees on the veranda this morning.
9/22/2012
First day of autumn. Slightly cooler in the early morning then in the high 90s during the day. Down to double digit temperatures. It has been dry but I have saved water in the small cistern. The hummingbird are still hitting the feeders. This morning a woodpecker stopped by to partake of their sugar water.

crisp air, silence except for the occasional goose stretching wings….
the leaves are flittering?(not sure thats a word but it fits) to the music it seems
